WORK AND TRAVEL

AWV provides placement of work and travel students for 3-4 months. and for internship for 12 months and training for 18 months. AWV cooperates with overseas recruiters and with approved sponsors to provide the best programs for students and interns.

The Work and Travel programs are available for winter: late November to March, for spring: March through June, and for summer: June-August/September. The seasons are somewhat different for each country, as they must correspond to the "summer breaks" in the country. Also, in some cases, summer can begin in July and continue to October.

INTERNSHIP AND TRAINING

AWV also arranges for internship for 12 months and training for 18 months. AWV cooperates with overseas recruiters and with approved sponsors to provide the best programs for intern and trainees. The Internship programs are for 12 months and training is for 18 months and internship or training can begin at any time of the year. Internship and training are for full time students or recent graduates within the first year of graduation.

AWV partners with recruiters from countries throughout the world, i.e. Latin and Central America, Eastern Europe and Asia. Also, AWV cooperates with several sponsors that are designated by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Cultural Affairs.

AWV provides U.S. business, both small and large, in all geographic areas of the US and in all industries with access to highly motivated and qualified international applicants, who not only provide skills that benefit the employer, but also enable the employer to diversify the workplace and provide the international insight and cultural perspective companies need to compete in the global market. The AWV programs assist the applicants to develop the professional skills necessary for the increasing competitive international economies.

AWV offers the following benefits and service for all programss at no cost to the employer:

The AWV program is for internship or training. Even though the applicants are highly qualified, motivated, and educated, the employer will have substantial payroll savings. Additionally, employer, in most cases, is exempt for paying FICA, FUTA and SUTA.

• Recruitment and screening of qualified international applicants. English fluency is required for both written and spoken English.
• AWV processes of all applications for immigration approval with the cooperation of approved sponsors.
• All applicants will have health insurance at no cost to the employer.
• Applicants and employers will have 24 hour support from the sponsor throughout the entire program.
